| MyIdentity 
| Utilising the Shibboleth standard for access control, MyIdentity is a simplified sign-on (SSO) application providing users with one point of log-in to access several different systems, resources and content. Secure anytime, anywhere access offers a more individualised approach to learning by allowing authorisation to be at the individual pupil level. Shibboleth is a Becta recommended standard to provide ‘Simplified Sign-on’ between different education applications. Instead of having multiple user names and passwords across many different applications, users log on once to a single Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP) and this facilitates access without the need to re-authenticate.
